Please advise on how I can successfully update my Adobe Reader (DC) v 11.0.10 on my Mac OS X 10.8.5.

I'm unsure if Adobe Reader's update failure is due to 's lack of an update for Mac OS Intel 10.8.5. On Adobe's website I noticed that my exact operating system 10.8.5 is not included in the drop down menu, so I chose Mac OS Intel 10.8. Here is the link to the FF page where I check my plugins.

However, I know the installation must have failed because when I go to FireFox check plugins, FF indicates that my Adobe Reader plugin is vulnerable ("Status") and says under "Action" that I should update it now.
